Description: "Another day wasted as guest of the Empress, a wretchedly long tour of the breath-taking Boreal Falls, conducted as ever by the Lady Amilia. As if she weren't bad enough, an honour guard of soldiers, their breast-plates red in the setting sun, march ahead of the procession and protect you from seeing anything unrehearsed. It's a dog's life being an Ambassador." This is an understatement. What starts out as a simple recon mission turns into an extensive cave crawl and the search for the source of magic in the abandoned underground Empire. Long and complex, but the hints cover everything and you can always hit the Back button on your browser if you die. And, really, how can you dislike a game with man-eating water lilies?

EDIT: Okay, there are a few stupid things you can do to put the game into an unwinnable state (or, in one case, never get rid of an annoying creature):

1) Amilia will never let you look at the woods through your telescope. But you CAN look at a bird when it makes itself known.
2) Get EVERYTHING in the customs house before loosening the rope that would have let you back up there. There's two treasures there to be found. And an important piece of fruit.
3) Do NOT take the ladder with you when you ascend/descend the cedar! Leave it either bridging the top cave level and the tree, or leave it where you found it (leading down to the cave floor from the cedar branches). If you carry it with you during a pivotal point, you will find yourself completely trapped in the caves and might not be able to back up to put it back.
4) When someone tells you "don't forget the ploor spell," that means you need to cast it RIGHT AWAY. Having to start COMPLETELY over when you would have been 2 moves away from the end otherwise? Not fun.
